Easter Egg Belly

It's our first Easter together and just like Christmas it's going to be memorable. I don't know if I mentioned it but our first Christmas together Wichita Falls got a record snowfall causing all the roads to be in terrible condition, and not suitable for driving. Aaron almost didn't get to come home from work on Christmas Eve and I would have been home alone. Thankfully a friend of ours was able to get him home safely. Our power also went out that night for 3 hours. Christmas day we braved the roads that seemed to be somewhat drivable and had our first Christmas day lunch together at Denny's. We then made our way to my parents house where we were actually able to open our gifts from each other and my parents. Some Christmas huh? Now we get to Easter which is normally a sad time for Aaron but he decided this year to put that all behind him and enjoy Easter by making new memories. With this said, while we were standing in line at a horridly busy Wal Mart at 10pm, we decided that our first Easter memory together would be painting my pregnant belly like an Easter egg. While some people were dying eggs, with or for their kiddos last night, we were painting one on my kiddos place of residence (for the time being). It was fun and definitely a picture for his scrapbook. Not only is Easter this year more special because I have Aaron in my life BUT it's opening day for the Red Sox. First game of the season is against none other than the New York Yankees. GO BO SOX!! ((A little bit of an honorary tribute is depicted in the belly art as you will see)) Oh yes in case I didn't mention, we are huge Red Sox fans. Noah already has his first Red Sox outfit and blanket courtesy of his Nana.

  1. Nice job! I guess that was Aaron's handywork since you can't really SEE that. I'm impressed by the perfect shape. You almost can't tell it's a belly! Ha! Ha!

  2. Haha thanks! Yeah that would be his handywork. It was fun but it took a while! I had to look in the mirror just to see what it was looking like when he was doing it. He did a pretty good job it actually looks egg shaped. I wish we would have thought to do something at Christmas too though!
